About the board game timer
Speed up slow turns and keep party games fair with a dedicated board game timer. Create one or more countdowns – a 60-second turn timer for Codenames, a 5-minute round timer, or a full-game clock – and start, pause or reset them independently.
An optional sound alert plays when a timer reaches zero, so nobody has to watch the clock. Timers keep running while you switch tabs, making this a convenient replacement for the sand timer that always goes missing.

Can I run more than one timer at the same time?
Yes. Create as many timers as you need – for example one per player – and control each one separately.
Will the timer make a sound when time is up?
Yes, if sound alerts are enabled (toggle at the top). Your browser may require one tap on the page before it can play audio.
Which games need a timer?
Party and word games such as Codenames, Just One, Dixit or Pictionary use turn limits, and many strategy groups add a soft turn timer to reduce analysis paralysis.
