How scoring works in Wingspan
- Bird cards: score the victory points printed on every bird card in your three habitats.
- Bonus cards: each bonus card scores according to how many of your birds match its condition (see the card’s scoring table).
- End-of-round goals: score the points you earned on the goal board at the end of each of the 4 rounds.
- Eggs: 1 point for each egg on your bird cards.
- Cached food: 1 point for each food token cached on your bird cards.
- Tucked cards: 1 point for each card tucked under your bird cards.
- The player with the most points wins. Ties are broken by the most unused food tokens in your supply.
Good to know
- This calculator covers the base game. Expansion elements such as nectar (Oceania) or duet tokens (Asia) can be added to the "Bonus cards" or "Bird cards" fields manually.
Frequently asked questions
How do you score points in Wingspan?
At the end of round 4 you add up: points printed on bird cards, bonus card points, end-of-round goal points, 1 point per egg, 1 point per cached food token and 1 point per tucked card. Highest total wins.
What happens on a tie in Wingspan?
The tied player with the most unused food tokens in their personal supply wins. If that is also tied, the players share the victory.
Do eggs on the same bird count separately?
Yes. Every egg on every bird card is worth 1 point, regardless of which bird it sits on.
